He left the cash near to the front door of the property for others to collect, WalesOnline reports. He was discovered after he answered the door to an undercover police officer taking part in a sting to crack down on prostition. Tim Evans, prosecuting, told the court the operation was uncovered as a result of a South Wales Police operation.

Once inside the officer revealed his identity and other uniformed police officers arrived to arrest Li who was later interviewed with an interpreter present. He had been there for about three months. Mr Evans also explained Li had overstayed his visa and the officer in the case had brought this to the attention of immigration authorities. Derrick Gooden, defending, said his client was not trafficked, and had simply responded to an employment opportunity and taken it.
He added Li played a very minor role in the operation, had admitted his involvement, and had been in held in custody since his arrest in November. Li, of no fixed address, received a week custodial sentence which the judge ruled he had already served. By Marcus Hughes Senior Reporter.
